Ever have one of those two-hour conversations that feels like it's just getting started (in a good way) and you could talk another four hours (except your interview subject is probably gonna lose his voice soon, and you've gotta run to pick up your kid)?
Yeah, it was one of those: so good!
As a Skype interview, we ran into some tech troubles, but Douglas was amazingly patient about the whole thing. Douglas Guilbeault is a doctoral student at the Annenberg School for Communication and has a background in philosophy and cognitive linguistics. Douglas shared some pretty amazing insights into bots, OSNs (Online Social Networks) and (ahem) recent news items and we ran out of time just as we started talking about early modern witch trials. This documentary aside, I'll have to follow up on this some day.
